Romed Baumann wins WCup super-combined race (AP)

Romed Baumann held off a strong challenge from promising Frenchman Alexis Pinturault to win Sunday's World Cup super-combined race for his second career victory. Baumann led Pinturault by a comfortable 3.27 seconds after posting the fastest time in the morning's downhill run on the La Verte des Houches course, and the Austrian held firm in the afternoon slalom session to win by 1.10

American Mancuso wins super-G (AP)

Julia Mancuso's wait for her first win of the season is over. Lindsey Vonn will have to wait a little longer to break another record. Mancuso won a super-G on Sunday for her first World Cup victory of the season, while Vonn skied off the course and did not finish. Kearney wins US gold in World Cup dual moguls (AP)

Hannah Kearney of the United States won her 14th consecutive World Cup gold, claiming the dual moguls title Saturday at the freestyle event at Deer Valley Resort. Kearney edged Canada's Justine Dufour-Lapointe for her first dual moguls win on the Champion run. Fellow American Heather McPhie grabbed bronze.

Jan Hudec sensed something good was about to happen. He got out of bed and for the first time in many years he wasn't in pain. Having struggled so long during a career that reads like a long orthopedic report, Hudec won a World Cup downhill in a great day for Canadian skiing. Lindsey Vonn earns 50th World Cup win (AP)

A career milestone and a rare family reunion. All of which left Lindsey Vonn in tears, and it made for a perfect day. Vonn captured her 50th World Cup victory Saturday, winning the downhill on the demanding Kandahar course with temperatures plunging to minus 13. "It's crazy. I am at a loss for words.

Austria's Kroell wins downhill by 0.01 seconds (AP)

Klaus Kroell gave Austria its first World Cup downhill victory of the season Friday, edging Bode Miller by 0.01 seconds in a race so tight the top five skiers were separated by only 0.08 seconds. Miller was faster than Kroell at every split, but the American lost time on the bottom section and finished an eye blink behind Kroell, who won in 2 minutes, 4.22 seconds.

Austria's Goergl fastest in downhill training (AP)

Elisabeth Goergl of Austria clocked the fastest time in final training on Friday for a women's downhill on the Kandahar course where she won two gold medals at last year's world championships. Goergl won the downhill and super-G titles last year and looks set to repeat this weekend. The Austrian beat Stacey Cook of the United States and Marie Marchand-Arvier of France by 0.24 seconds.

Cuche leads World Cup downhill training run (AP)

Swiss veteran Didier Cuche showed that age does not matter by setting the fastest time in Thursday's training run for a men's World Cup downhill. The Swiss skier covered the 3,343-meter La Verte des Houches course in 2 minutes, 5.05 seconds. Romed Baumann of Austria was second in 2:05.31 and Andrej Sporn of Slovenia was third, 0.30 seconds off the pace.

Marchand-Arvier tops Vonn in downhill training (AP)

Marie Marchand-Arvier of France had the fastest time in the first training run for a women's World Cup downhill, edging Lindsey Vonn of the United States on Thursday. Vonn is seeking her 50th World Cup victory and was 0.21 seconds behind the Frenchwoman. Marchand-Arvier missed a gate, though. Daniela Merighetti of Italy was third, 0.68 seconds back.
